I Protest!!! Vigorously!!!!

  • Pink captures President Bush's callous disregard with heart-rending accuracy. This song makes me cry every time I hear it.
  • Jackson Brown's new song is fabulous! Lives in the Balance truly touches on the choices facing America today.
  • An Arlo Guthrie classic! You'd be amazed at how it fits our modern war ethics.
  • Bruce Hornsby's finest. We are treating the Katrina survivors the same way.
  • By Phil Ochs. Not what you'd think. He wrote it following the murder of three civil rights workers in the mid '60's. Still pertinent today, I fear.
  • This one's by Lindsay Buckingham. All hail the 4th estate!
  • Song by the late, great Harry Chapin. It references Vietman, but remains pithy.
  • By Bright Eyes. One of the best protest songs to come along in years.
  • From the musical, 1776.
Check it out - the reference may be Revolutionary War era, but the sentiment rocks!

I don't think the legal team that took this case to the Supreme Court is going to back down now - regardless of what Tony Snowjob says or does. Go ACLU! I loved the look on Bush's face - he looked like he had just swallowed a ton of bricks and was ready to shit them right there.

I love your poster. And Tony Snowflake...well, being the woman that I am I won't say.

Rest assured, if they can find a way to sneak around this, they will.

The outcry from the public is long overdo. As soon as they saw what these guys had set up at Gitma (and in Iraq) they should have been speaking up.

Instead, it's All American Idol all the time. That's what's important these days.

Awesome post, fantastic website! It's nice to see that some Americans at least understand what's going on well enough to get PISSED OFF about it. I linked over from Len Hart's blog, The Existentialist Cowboy, having seen some comments you posted there. This is one of those sites that I bookmark immediately, and I'm sure to be back, and link to you on my own blog. Excellent work.

Lingual X

Awesome post and, I hadn't seen The Project for the Old American Century. The images are fantastic! I gave you a hat tip on my blog & then posted some of their pics. COOL! Thanks!
