I Protest!!! Vigorously!!!!

  • Pink captures President Bush's callous disregard with heart-rending accuracy. This song makes me cry every time I hear it.
  • Jackson Brown's new song is fabulous! Lives in the Balance truly touches on the choices facing America today.
  • An Arlo Guthrie classic! You'd be amazed at how it fits our modern war ethics.
  • Bruce Hornsby's finest. We are treating the Katrina survivors the same way.
  • By Phil Ochs. Not what you'd think. He wrote it following the murder of three civil rights workers in the mid '60's. Still pertinent today, I fear.
  • This one's by Lindsay Buckingham. All hail the 4th estate!
  • Song by the late, great Harry Chapin. It references Vietman, but remains pithy.
  • By Bright Eyes. One of the best protest songs to come along in years.
  • From the musical, 1776.
Check it out - the reference may be Revolutionary War era, but the sentiment rocks!

Looks to me like a good time was had by all.

I came home from our trip with a mountain of dirty clothes. So some of my weekend will be spent in the laundry room. Not real exciting but necessary.

Have a good one!

Never too many photos of the gang for me. Love the look of complete surrender to the patting on Smokey's face. If you get a chance, look at the little Youtuber I put up of cats talking. You'll laugh. Do you cats talk?

Your babies are so precious , I love when you share them with us like you do. The new little ones are so cute but they grow so fast and boy do they each have their own little personality.

Have a good weekend.

Great baby pictures. Aren't they fun to watch when they are playfighting. Sometimes, I think they play too roughly. Grey Feather and Cotton roll on the floor a lot, very similar to Pumpkin and Kilmouski. I sometimes hear a *thwock* and worry one has knocked their head against something.

The CultureGhost

Great photos.

Are you getting enough sleep with all the frenetic kitten activity?

Ennui! That dog! I like your descriptions as much as the pets!

Hope you're doing ok these days.
